Based on Achim S.

Based on Achim S. idea about shadows of archetypes combined with the idea that each archetype can contain a Tarot-like inverse, I have created a speculative list of the roles of each Magnus member. There is a nature to each Magnus role that can be expressed either in helping or hindering the goal of the Magnus, but I believe that at all times the member is doing their "job" in the group. But as Francis Bacon believed, genius is like speed- if going the wrong way, it simply means you are doing it faster. I believe I have seen examples of both types of behavior from all Magnus members. I will have to look up specific examples, but I'm sure as you read you will think of some too. I think the element that "reverses" a Magnus member's role is a belief that they direct the Magnus rather than its direction being something that affects all members. The difference between a karass and a granfaloon. A disharmonious Magnus tends toward reversal of its members' trai...

Thoughts on EAW panel of 11/24

Thoughts on EAW panel of 11/24 Format was problematic. Unsure whether focus was on panel or host. Questions went largely unaddressed. Page lookup did not work well for live broadcast. How I would improve: Announce ahead of time what pages are of interest. Take panelists from best questions as per EAW (not necessarily highest voted: we are looking for relevance to material) Panelists discuss question for 1 minute each, EAW summarizes and gives thoughts after Have moderator promote 5 questions at very end for EAW personally. Have to board now will read later

"We note the following from H. P. Lovecraft's ``The Call of Cthulhu'':

"We note the following from H. P. Lovecraft's ``The Call of Cthulhu'': There exists a conspiratorial organization of global reach; It is centered around ``the undying leaders of the cult in the mountains of China''; ``Remains of Them [according to the ``deathless Chinamen''] were still to be found as Cyclopean stones in islands in the Pacific''; ``When the stars were right, They could plunge from world to world through the sky; but when the stars were wrong, They could not live''; ``the center [of the organization] lay amid the pathless deserts of Arabia, where Iram, the City of Pillars, dreams hidden and untouched''; ``It was not allied to the European witch-cult''; The center of the interests of the cult has moved under water; Biological abnormalities are of great interest to the cult; so is non-Euclidian geometry. We conclude that Lovecraft was misinformed --- his informants do not appear to have been the most stable i...

Breadcrumb Project

Breadcrumb Project Talking to JoJo Stratton , Yik Sheng Lee, and Mustafa Said this evening, the topic of breadcrumbs came up. A famous tactic of Hank Johnson's to retain information between recursions, breadcrumbs are information left behind at significant portals to him: places he would be drawn to visit without knowing exactly why. This is useful as after a recursion, Hank had no idea what he was trying to accomplish. JoJo asked, if we were sensitives, what places would we leave our breadcrumb trails in order to remember what we absolutely had to? These would be places we were drawn to even before there we knew of Exotic Matter, places we found attractive and irresistible without even knowing their true nature. The very suggestion brought to mind, unbidden, a great many places: proof of the power in this tactic, and a very clear reason why Hank thought of it.  This isn't exactly a true search into the nature of the Niantic Project, but instead a bit of a fun personal examinat...

We need your help in getting as many glyph messages as possible.

We need your help in getting as many glyph messages as possible. This both helps us understand the glyphs themselves, and perhaps correlate the messages, along with their context and timing. Please spread this link widely in your communities.
Please extend an invitation to  Jeffrey Schatz , as he has answered this week's recruitment test questions.

This file is designed for research into 3d glyphs.

This file is designed for research into 3d glyphs. It contains the two-hexagon calibration grid expressed as a truncated and rotated cube, with the center point as the origin. This geometry has the advantage of being unambiguous- from this position, each glyph node as expressed in our current 2d methods can be seen to have a clean 3d spatial analog. Included in the file are all glyphs currently known, both those with theorized meanings and those without. Use this file to experiment with views and configurations. It is a Rhinoceros file, and the demo version can be had for free at rhino3d.com (the demo can view files freely.) https://www.dropbox.com/s/n1l6ll96bhh5ju6/Glyphtionary%203D.3dm

One idea I had, but lack the chops to implement.

One idea I had, but lack the chops to implement. The major problem with new agents' understanding of the things we find is that there are so many points of entry, and only the dedicated can find how it all ties together. There is a wiki, but you have to more or less know what you're looking for. And the story of all this is one of many connections and ties, that once arrived at, open up new vistas of understanding.  What would be nice is a system wherein there are a set of wiki pages, but they're tied together by semantic tags, and there is a presentation layer that will show you timelines of events.  So you'd search for, say, Waratah, and get a list of all the players involved, and a chronology of things tagged with that. Each salient event gets its own page, but you can keep going through timelines and seeing parallels and connections in an intuitive way. We could use the existing wiki as a base, but then we need to figure the templating system out that would draw upo...

As requested. From the NYC Cassandra anomaly. We could never make heads or tails of it.

If you have screenshots of a Jarvis Shard in the wild on a scanner, please post them.

If you have screenshots of a Jarvis Shard in the wild on a scanner, please post them. I prefer several angles of the part. This is so I can reconstruct it into a 3d representation.
