With talk of Devra's inoculation protocol moving forward, I was wondering if anyone had done a double split experiment with XM or CM to determine if single units create a interference pattern

Hey folks. Quick question. So, our scanners show how much XM we have stored. But...the scanners don't use units. What is XM measured in, exactly? Grams? MeV? ....Newtons? When I have 10000 XM, what is that measured in? That can't be a whole lot, given it's trapped inside your phone-er, scanner.

Anybody make it to Las Vegas for the event?  I'm going to be there.

"If the perception is changed, does it matter any more what the reality was?" I remember a professor saying that.  What I cannot remember is whether I was that professor. Was I a victim of experiments upon myself or was I the creation of experiments on me? That's the question I am pondering not as I try to reassemble the memories.

Did a frame by frame analysis on Hanks diary video. As far as images only a few things stood out to me besides the obvious reflections that have already been talked about. I doubt they are Niantic relevant but thought i would share anyways. First we see the name Vattenfall in a trian station. with trains that have the name Regio. A Central European Train company.  Vattenfall on the other hand is one of Europe's largest generators of electricity and the largest producer of heat. Our main products are electricity, heat and gas. As I said probably not related. Also I saw a weird animation in a window during one of hanks scenes. Not sure if a reflection would come across that strong. so i threw it in slow mo and posted it for you to see. I dont think its relevant but its vibrancy its quite extreme for a reflection so i posted it for you anyways here. I have a question and perhaps Edgar Allan Wright has some thoughts or suggestions on how to proceed (or anyone else as well) :) There are a number of documents that we have encountered that have large parts redacted. Also, we have seen some factsheets and other documents from Global Analysis and other organizations on different projects, organizations and people. Is there some way we can perhaps access more of these documents or dig for unredacted copies? Is there a Freedom Of Information Act or petition type of activity that we could organize to obtain more of these documents.  I also would love to see more scientific reports or data dumps or any study type of documents. I'm willing to put together requests or other items if there is an idea of who or how to target... We need more data ;)

Thanks to Daniel Beaudoin for finding this. I now see the results of the Reality Fashioning research I reluctantly participated in during graduate school.  At the time... And remember, this was the '70's, it was fashionable to discuss consciousness and reality.  But now, I see the implications. I suspect that the 'Perceived Reality' seminars had a much more clandestine purpose.  Let me say, even sinister purpose.  I remember the Professor saying, what happens when there is no longer a line between truth and fiction?  After all, all truth is only a perception and all fiction must reflect reality to be understood. Now, a book comes out describing a real event and it is categorized as fiction.  This goes far beyond hiding truth in place sight? It is reality masking. Hello Essex, Agent Ammaniel Medina has answered the  questions posted on the Operation Essex page on Jan. 11, please accept his application.

This research has been kept private until now. I present to you a series of glyphs that were photographed on the late Carrie Campbell's body, the day of her untimely death. Some other researchers and I have tried to put together and speculate the meaning of the most visible glyphs among the photographs taken.  Thank you Joshua Reiniger and Anthony Castanza for your contributions. This research is now publicly editable so please feel free to add your own notes as Joshua and Anthony have or leave your ideas in the comments below. This version represents a 3 dimensional grid with 21 calibration points. As you can see the grid lines up when rotated about it's horizontal axis every 90°. When rotated through it's vertical axis it only lines up at 180°. Could the fact the grid only lines up on one axis indicate a direction? Like the grid is pointed at something when the instructions are executed. Similar to how the portal key system works? There would be several ways for the lines of the glyphs to be laid out. We hope rotating the grid would give other glyphs not yet seen. Also with the idea of combining glyphs to expand their meanings as  Anthony Castanza has mentioned could represent possible control functions of the portals yet to be explored.

just a thought and wondering if there are others interested in organzing this. I had someone ask me about Essex and where to go to catch up on the story. Of course there are sources and pieces but it is so complex.  I was thinking, could we organize a hangout or a place to post where new players could ask any and all lore related questions and whomever is there works to answer the questions and point them to the resources. Yes, I know there is the concept of having a person explore and find the answers on their own, and for something, I agree, but as the universe grows bigger, the task becomes more and more daunting. For some even knowing where to go to answer some of the Essex questions is a huge hurdle.   I am thinking of a place were the same question may be asked 100 times and it may seem very simple. You know, like the info station at the airport that has 100 people ask every day which way to the restrooms when the sign is right behind them.... Not quite sure of how to accomplish

I was playing around with a 10 shekel coin and suddenly noticed some very familiar letters in the ancient Hebrew script. Did we notice these similarities before?

After reviewing the glyphs presented at the culmination of #13Magnus  is San Francisco, I decided to revisit the "Advance" glyph.  Basically a straight line, and without the convenience of being shown with it's calibration grid, this one has been somewhat challenging to transcribe with assured accuracy.   The image on the right (2.) was my original transcription, however I am now leaning more toward the image on the left (1.) as it is straighter without the slight bend that is in the other.  Of course, that may also have to do with the accuracy and symmetry of the calibration grid I am using.  Also keep in mind, that Anthony Castanza has a transcription that cuts out the middle point altogether and shoots the glyph line straight from point a to point b. I've been thinking about XMPs. Specifically, why XM in its natural form can destroy XM constructs, but Dark XM was needed to fracture the XM entity Jarvis, such that he could be reformed in physical form. We are missing the XMP card, which is unfortunate. But I think I have an idea of why the two behave differently.            I believe the difference in the two reactions is that resonators and other constructs are "static" forms of Exotic matter, while XM entities are more "fluid". XM in our dimension seems to always be in flux, decaying gradually back to the XM substrate as it flows from portals. BUT when constituted by the "Resonator DNA" sequence used by scanners, the XM is forced into a static, stable, ultimately lower energy form.         Because XM has both wave and particle properties, its useful to think of it as disordered signals with snippets of ordered data in natural XM. This is why Resonators are needed; to remove the signal noise. Reson

Edgar Allan Wright I am writing this here to ask your and the other Essex members if this would be a good thing and allowable.  I wrote a request to Niantic about submitting a seminar event for GenCon 2014 to discuss all things fan and story related in the world of Niantic. I have heard nothing back, but was thinking, with your recent mention of getting the Operation essex story out there. Could I submit an Operation Essex event for GenCon and use that as a way to bring the truth to others? Event submission is Jan 10 and they have limited space so those submitted on the 10th have the best opportunity, is this something we could do?  A way to start to bring the truth to others?

Interesting observation Originally shared by Adam Gilmore Evaporating XM: I've always been curious of the XM that appears to evaporate into thin air off of the tops of portals on our scanners.  The XM particles are vanishing, thus appear to be converting into another type of matter (in order to disappear) and going "somewhere".  Where is this XM going?  Is there some huge XM clouds up in the skies above us? If there is, why is it not periodically raining XM down on us (if XM can even do that). Or, is it just assumed that the disappearing XM is just falling to the ground every 20 minutes and thus gives us the XM on the ground to pick up.  If that were the case, then there should be snowhill-sized XM piles on the ground on portals that aren't visited often. Apologies if this is explained somewhere else already.  If it has been, I haven't found the reference yet. Maybe I'm just looking too much into this and should just ignore it. This is a fan art, and it might just be a way for ingress to show some appreciation for agents art: "Strange coincidence how well the Faction insignias fit together" However, the looks of this combination, that most of us has seen before, is always reminiscent of the Aztec and Mayan styles of art (more Aztec than Mayan). Since the Resistance end point of the 13Magnus, and our speculations around WWII were based on South America, it fits the possibility. Also, I always thought it is strange for the enlightened symbol to only be one eye, although this type of symbology is not unseen (the famous Horus Eye, which Yik Sheng Lee must know a lot more than me), I really think the use of two of them gives a better image. The usage of the Resistance symbol in a combined way, and with the lower part fitting so well, could be the indication of some bigger connection between them that surpasses its differences. We know that the Jarvis Entity was patching scanner devices before Jarvis left the project on Epiphany Night. That there were green fields already erected and standing when Dr. Lynton-Wolfe was just starting to determine how to link portals together. The question is, just what happens when XM, which exists outside the context of time, carries information from the future to the past, information that then affects the sequence of events that create that future? Has causality sawtoothed back on itself several times over the past year, to lead us to the timeline we're currently experiencing right now? Is it still happening?
