We are going to lose our memories... As we have seen a great many times in Ingress lore, especially here at Operation Essex ... As the majority of you have heard, G+'s end date has been drawn closer! The latest posts stating as early as March. Yes, there is "Google Takeout" that allows things to be exported. But if you've tried that, you know that yes it does the export, but... it doesn't leave things in a very consumable state afterwards. I am wondering, would the community here want to work together to take each post in this community and save it / print it off to a PDF, that could then be compiled as a digital book? I realize that's not super elegant, and that a lot of the techie minds here probably are brainstorming more creative solutions... but at the end of the day, if "we" don't get going on something, all could be lost... I can envision a work share where X number of people volunteer to take a two week period and create the PDFs, deposi...

I went AWOL for a while and I wanted to say im back. If any of you have any tasks, missions, or research projects for me to take I will happily oblige. I would like to come back strong so catch me up with the latest conspiracy.

Something has been tugging on me about the RES and the ENL. I am a grey which means that I have no side. When you are grey, you are always on the run. Sometimes you just need someone to lean on. I love the thrill of the chase, but any human will always eventually need to rest. I need to know if there is a group or a person out there that me and my other fellow Greys can trust. Maybe us Greys can start a small group together and trust each other. Or maybe there is an experienced grey out there we can trust. I don't know. We need answers. We need trust. -Foxtrot

ok I think it is time for me to ask for access into HO for Operation Essex. I've been a bystander here for a while and active in other areas searching and studying mostly the glyphs, but I feel now is the time to delve even deeper into the story line and hopefully be able to help with the investigations going on here, which sadly means I have missed, and will continue to miss, a lot of information that might be helpful to my own studies, if I'm not in the HO as well.

Hi everyone,  I'm an amateur investigatos from Colombia. I've been following the investigation since Helios anomaly (when a first meet the scanner). A just few weeks ago, I could participate on a HO conversation with some mebers of this community as well as Dr. Edgar Allan Wright. This motivate me a lot to keep reading and question me about what is/was the Niantic Project. I read almost every post, theory and screenshots conversation thar are posted here to try and catch up the full story. Nowadays I'm working on a theory about Primal XM Objects at south america. I have spent most of my time with AncientSocieties, but im looking to do more with Essex now, seen as how ANCSOC is..sleeping??  Anyway, looking forward to being more involved. I was on the Dr.Wright chat recently, which i thought would only be a minute long opportunity to simply as a question and turned into a 30 min video chat. Hi all, I'm reaching out to the community at large because during my research I realized that many of us wish to contribute ideas and opinions on the investigation but we stopped due to a factor that not only limits our learning but slow our research, what i mean by that is the lenguage barrier that many of us have, mainly because English isnt our native language or just because we dont feel comfortable. So I would like with the permission of the moderators and the owner to post my research in Spanish, in order to give an opportunity to the Spanish-speaking investigators to contribute to the research and find a place where ideas and opinions can be developed to the fullest. I think that the way I research can contribute greatly to the community, and can expand the knowledge of those who seek the truth about the niantic project but have obstacles that make it difficult to acquire that knowledge to continue their research. So question - When Essex first started - there was the weekly quiz/list of questions for consideration - that people would answer and discuss as a way to gain entry to Essex posting ability and the hangouts, etc.  As there is a renewed sense of story exploration - is it possible to have a set of questions so those asking to be in the hangouts and such can complete???

Not sure how this works exactly, but given the new investigator badge, I think all of us would agree that Yik Sheng Lee​​​​ and Mustafa Said​​​​​ have more than earned their badge for all of the work they have done for this community--whether it is historical research, document analysis & correlation, or community outreach, these two investigators have put in tremendous work into understanding the ramifications of being aware of and living in a world of exotic matter. There are more investigators that have contributed to the community and the investigation significantly as well, but when I saw the recent post by the Niantic Project​​​​, the names of these two investigators immediately came to mind. I'm starting to consider the idea of expanding recruitment of new Reporters. With the lull being caused by the absence of Anomalies, I believe now is the time in which we could use Essex News to prepare and inform the general public of the status of affairs in the world of Ingress.  If you know any people that are worthy candidates, please respond here with their name. Essex News-Recruitment List UPDATE: Working on a Google Doc with most of what I've already released as well a potential format of the Missions. Once I've gotten it wrapped up I'll share it with all Reporters and Essex for discussion.  Please comment here if you would like to be an Essex News Reporter in your local area. Essex News-What's Next? So it seems that a lot of you guys like the idea I posted earlier. Since then I've been thinking about a lot of things related to it and thought I'd share my thoughts here.  1. I don't know if it'll be monthly or weekly. I'd prefer weekly but I guess it should depend on who's responsible for developing Missions in their area. If someone's got a time constraint or perhaps has other responsibilities maybe I'll have them do monthly Missions and help them on doing so while the weekly Reporters would simply be recaping the previous week of news.  2. I'll talk to the mods or Dr.Edgar Allan Wright(whichever one can do so) and add a section to the Essex community for the News; release of Missions in local areas, questions/concerns, potential recruitment for Reporters.    Requirements to be a Reporter(tentative list, if possible please help me add more requirements if needed):  Must be able to make Missions in Scanner (LVL 7 or Hig...

/me is very excited!  Ok, so for the last couple of weeks I've been silently working on something that I consider interesting and I'd like to share it with you all(and also try to garner some help in what I consider to be a massive endeavor).  Consider this more of a initial briefing. It's also in its early stages so that's why I'm showing it all to you now, so that I can get a discussion going on it and from that I may hopefully be able to better refine it.  This is probably the most ambitious idea I've ever had and it's not something I can complete alone. I'd like to unravel the curtain on what I'm calling: Essex News .  So Essex News is a episodic series of Missions that take place around the world in as many places as possible. The goal of EN is to provide recaps of the information pouring out of various sources within the world of Ingress, whether it is from the Niantic Project or NP Researchers, the Corporations or Truthseekers like H. Richard ...

Now that mission creation has been enabled, I suggest we spread the word about the storyline through them. We can create a mission for each part of the storyline, having a trivia in-between portals. What do you think? I'm willing to start with a mission about Epiphany Night in Lima, Peru.
