The tool is in your hands, the scanner is the key. It's #FlashbackFriday - some of you might not be familiar with the voice you recently heard in the scanner. That is an excerpt from the Redemption Speech by the Enlightened's Roland Jarvis. It was released in August 2013 via 36 Media items that investigators, many from Operation Essex, helped to compile and decrypt. It was an exciting time and an impressive display of cooperation from agents from both factions. This experience brought new investigators into fold. What do we know of Antimagnus and its members? Please comment on Edgar Allan Wright's original post. Originally shared by Edgar Allan Wright What do we know of Antimagnus? Who are its present members? Calvin, Jahan, Smith... Who else?   What historical Antimagnuses have we discovered or do we suspect?  The inner court of the Persian empire?  The alchemists (Flammel?)?  They believed in math and science.  Archimedes?  Maybe even Henry the Navigator's School?  Researching now. This knowledge will become valuable.

Images of possibilities. And somewhere in there I felt the shade of Calvin. Everything he did and said in the decades I knew him takes on a new shade of meaning.  It is visible now from a different angle -- like viewing the world from inside the magician’s sleeve. Everything he did led to this moment, Whydah, Niantic...  Everything.  And yet he is not here for his triumph.   Or have I got it all wrong? Is he the villain or hero of the piece?  Is he the hand moving the pieces, or is he just a piece? Meditating. Contemplating. Assembling.

Here is the first question and answer: Jorge: Ken Loui would like to ask you Dr. Wright if there multiple layers of existence? EAW:  Doesn’t that seem obvious?  Not only are there multiple layers, but they are connected--all connected in some networked, interlinked whole.  Past, Present, Future…  Desire and Fear… They are all linked. Slowly we are beginning to see how they are held together.  The ultimate goal is to know the past, perceive the present, and understand the future.  Maybe sometimes prevent it.  I also believe that realities split and shard apart.

Happy birthday, Edgar Allan Wright!

Investigators: A follow up on the limited-edition character cards ... at Chicago, they were giving away the Carrie Campbell card and it is my understanding that enoch dalby will be handed out on Aug. 23. The Carrie card was handed out to very, very few people in Chicago. I only heard of one agent who got one at the after-party, and one agent who got one by finding the dead drop. I recommend letting your agents in your communities know if you're attending an anomaly and are trying to collect them all. Maybe you can find someone who doesn't follow the story who will give you theirs. It has not been stressed enough that these cards are very rare, and I think most reasonable agents would give them up if they knew they meant so much to our investigation. I am hoping Niantic could come up with some way to award these rare cards to avid storyline followers. I hate to think if unknowing agents just throw these away since they don't have a code!
