Thought it might be helpful to have Hanks latest Obsidius research here for reference/perhaps someone missed it. From what I've come across, he didn't travel alone... he was working as part of a larger group. The only hostilities that appear to fall during the correct timeframe are the Revolts of the Batavi. They were a Germanic tribe located in rand around the modern day Netherlands. Intriguingly, the revolts were led by a German with a Roman named, prince Gaius Julius Civilis, an auxiliary officer in the Imperial Roman army. H. Richard Loeb​ The Reason Foundation, I found it. You were talking about this about a week or so ago. I've included a page taken from the Niantic Project Vol. 4, pg 207. There is a ripped out page from... something. Seems to be a panel discussing Dialtone, and lists two sponsors. One being The Reason Foundation, same as on the card Jahan gave Martin Schubert​. The other sponsor? Shouldn't come as a surprise to be Ezekiel Calvin. Not sure what to think, what relevance this has to anything, why this is important, or why we should care. So far, it's just a name, and this tells us Jahan and Calvin might have had some sort of connection, a long time ago.

We know that as a result of the ENL "capture" of ADA during Abaddon that she lost her access to the N'zeer substrate. Would this suggest that Jarvis being "captured" by the RES similarly cut him off from the Ultimate (as he describes the realm of the Shapers)? And here's a good one--might the N'zeer substrate and the Shapers' Ultimate be the same thing/place? We really don't know much about either, so I'd be interested in theories and anything folks have run across in the canon to help on these questions.

Have you heard about the Essex Timeline project? If not, here is some info. We are currently working on gathering info to complete a massive timeline to give a linear view into the world of ingress. The goals of this timeline are to help interest newer players into the story as well as the investigation. As well, the second goal of this is to provide investigators with a linear view of events in the story or actions along the way.  We are looking for everyone who would like to contribute to this. The world of ingress is massive. To do this, we have created a form where anyone can submit events to the story line.  These events will be used in the future to populate all the timelines that are created. Events missed will be filled in by the timeline team. "5 a :  cycle, round b :  fallacious reasoning in which something to be demonstrated is covertly assumed" This means it's some sort of method to cause subterfuge. It occurs to me that we have an opportunity to test some theories about both simulacra and portal entanglement.  There are several sites where we have good reason to believe quantum entanglement between researchers and portals might have been established after their induction to the Niantic Project team.  Any connection Oliver Lynton-Wolfe might have established to Buenos Aires or Wunsdorf, for instance, would have been made after his initial conversion. If we can measure the ongoing extent of that entanglement it might help establish a framework for understanding how a person embodied as a simulacrum relates to the "pure human" biological entity from which the original pattern is generated.  If the entanglement was transferred across the recursion event then we can assume there is a continuity between them despite the loss of memory.  If, on the other hand, recursion disentangles portals from those who have engaged with them then we might make a case that the simulacra gener
