On the wake on Aegis Nova, we have many death and possible deaths to account for, this death come from both side on the fence, on the name of the Shaper, represented by Jarvis / Acolyte and on the name of the n’zeer, represented by Jahan.
Some have raised pointed finger to the other side, but most of this death have come from a runaway effect of cause/consequence. A wheel of hate/mistrust and death.
The one we know for this particular history are the following, if I remember them correctly,
Jarvis appeared on the portal network
ADA killed Jarvis
Jarvis create the SETAI to kill ADA and tried to do so several times
ADA extracted OLW from Jarvis compound on the verge of a great discovery
Jarvis summoned Klue to the compound to get ADA secrets, inside her
Jahan kidnaped/killed Susana’s father to launch an attack to Jarvis
Susana went to india to confront Jahan and take revenge
Jarvis hurt/potentially kill ada and Klue
Those are the step on the wheel that involve those two, but i’m sure that the wheel go deeper than that, for started, ADA would have not been created if it wasn’t for Calvin desire to create the Niantic project to bring back the n’zeer, getting it a step further into the past.
In the end, it all track down to the old war, the one that the shaper and n’zeer fight long time ago, But what do we know about the shaper and the n’zeer?
The information is really limited on both side:
We know that the shaper prefer the more natural inspirations, and believe that the way forward are the art and philosophies, they are candidates to replenish and enlightened our souls to find our way on life. We suspect that they are related to XM, but we don’t know for sure
The n’zeer on the other hand, seem to be believers on math and applied sciences, specially technology and computers are the only way for a specified like our to go forwards. Outlifting our mind so the rest will follow. We suspect that they are related to Dark Xm, a mutagenic that could cause serious problems and a painful death on most occasions, but we don’t know for sure
We don’t know more about why they fight or how did they found us, they both seem to want to uplift our race to the next level, but disagree on the how.
They are obviously wrong, as we have plenty of examples on our histories on what happens when you prioritize mind over soul or the other way around. The only way forwards is to get then on a nice equilibrium, but the wheel of hate won’t let them see this, they only way to stop the deaths is to stop the wheel.
So how do we do that?
First, I would suggest stop the blaming, it doesn’t help and feed it, making it stronger
Then I suggest that we start to investigate the start of the wheel, the first war, when it was, why it happened and how did it finish. We are an investigation community, so we can do that.
So in short, what did they wanted to archive and what do they think i would happen if they fail/ the other side won would be the question I would like to have answered after that investigation
After that, I’m not sure, maybe checking their expectation with reality with give us more insight on how to convince the to get closer to each other.
The obvious way would be that one side forgive the other or since that would go to far beyond, at least do not pray on the side weakness or alternatively, let itself get the full blow unresponsively and sacrifice itself to let the conversation begin
But how to achieve that? If we have seen something on the past, is that no side is willing to be the one surrendering because they all think to be the right side, so i doesn’t seem possible
Anyone else has more ideas on how to achieve breaking this wheel of hatred?
I this this is really important, after all if we left the giant battling for old deeds on our ground, the would not only destroy each other out but also they will impose the same fate to us. Make us kill each other until there is no one left to assign blame.
