Hey folks. So I spent the last few days hacking together a theory on Shaper biology and XM behavior. Its enclosed in the google doc below. I'd really appreciate thoughts. TLDR:  The Shapers are made of XM, and are an emergent result of the high concentrations of XM in higher dimensional space. They exist in six string dimensions “above” 4D space. XM exists in this space, and only appears as it briefly intersects the axes of 4D. The “patterns” of humans exist in the 6D realm too, discrete from shapers. Jarvis is a hybrid of his human pattern and the shaper mind collective. XM signals are both telecommunications from shapers and “visual” data of the Shapers- perhaps even fragments of them. Green data may be lexical data. White XM may be lexical noise. Blue is quieter garbled noise, to the point of destructive interference. Hello.  I'm new to #operationessex - I'm not sure if there's a procedure to making inquiries, but if not... I've been doing a bit of thinking lately, as I try to catch up on things that have transpired prior to my being invited into Ingress.  Unless I am mistaken, Dr. +Joanna Brandt was one of the first to speak out about the possible dangers of XM, and the need for research and scientific studies.  I also recall seeing a letter from her to Congressman Robert Dasher. Since that letter, I have seen nothing about Dr. Brandt or Congressman Dasher.  Are their current whereabouts known?  I am curious as to how much / what Brandt knows, and what or if congress is doing about XM, the Jarvis shards, agents scurrying all about the nation and world, etc. Thanks very much. The trailer for this movie was posted by someone, and then reshared by Brian Rose.  The movie describes an "alternate reality game" that was played out over a few years in San Francisco.  The parallels between this and Ingress jump out like crazy at me.  Brian Rose also commented about this by linking to the recent Jarvis Manifesto compiled by Magnus Aligned.  The most interesting part about this is the last sentence. The last thing the director says is, "We'll find out more in three months."  From the date of the article, that puts it right around the time of the final Anomaly in San Francisco on December 14th.  I want to watch this movie, and see how this plays out. Since this was originally seen in the "Epiphany Coming" Tycho image, it is not unreasonable to suspect that this could mean "Epiphany."  But keep in mind that is merely speculation.  Anyone else have ideas about this one?

So since the start there has been 2 simple rules in terms of accepting members into Essex rule 1 - they must do the weekly test rule 2 - It must be player accounts and not group of players Example we got Daniel Casper  in here but not AgentsForADA (by now daniel hates us because we keep using him as an example) While rule 1 was created by our founder Edgar Allan Wright , rule 2 was made by the players at the time. as Jim Typhoon mentioned in previous post and also asked by flint dille and others in the Operation Essex Hangout (if y'all are not a part of the hangout, let the mods know so they can add you, well until the magic number of a hangout is reached)  but... the questions is - how to turn those just playing Ingress and hacking portals more into the backstory and the things we often dig into here in Essex... this is a thought game I like to play with and have for awhile.  I have lots of ideas (as those I incessantly send documents and thoughts to can verify :)  but I'll share a couple for now. OK - this is a sucky document and you can tell how long ago it was made (Devra and Ben unaligned LOL) - but... I like cards. One idea I had, but lack the chops to implement. The major problem with new agents' understanding of the things we find is that there are so many points of entry, and only the dedicated can find how it all ties together. There is a wiki, but you have to more or less know what you're looking for. And the story of all this is one of many connections and ties, that once arrived at, open up new vistas of understanding.  What would be nice is a system wherein there are a set of wiki pages, but they're tied together by semantic tags, and there is a presentation layer that will show you timelines of events.  So you'd search for, say, Waratah, and get a list of all the players involved, and a chronology of things tagged with that. Each salient event gets its own page, but you can keep going through timelines and seeing parallels and connections in an intuitive way. We could use the existing wiki as a base, but then we need to figure the templating system out that would draw upo

I'm trying to get out ahead of the next Anomaly.  Phoenix. Rome. A 13th Shard. Hank Johnson.  All of this is speculated on. What picture emerges? Rome is complex. The Empire. So could the NIA's Niantic Project logo be based on Shaper glyphs in itself?  Here is a mock up I created using a 13 point calibration grid based off of the Metatron's cube diagram that Drew Dondero shared with us. With this calibration grid overlaid atop the Niantic logo, it is quite interesting to see that each of the points of the grid match up very well with each of the symbol's extremities as well as all of the internal intersections. We've seen other icons that seem based on glyphs, such as our faction insignias.  Questions have also been raised about the #Alignment  logo.  What other company logos seem like they may be based on Shaper glyph technology? By the way, this whole idea is the brain-child of Kelly Kolton, I'm just adapting it slightly to the newest revelations/speculations...

I just noticed something after posting that little thing about us "watching the watchmen."  If the Jarvis Shards all make up the Enlightened "eye," and they get to the pyramid in Buenos Aires, it would make that portal essentially the All Seeing Eye, or Eye of Providence.  Also the Eye of Providence is a Masonic symbol similar to the one used by The Alignment.  Anyone else have thoughts?

Since the leak of +Susanna Moyer's "interrogation" videos, something has really been bothering me.  It was brought up briefly yesterday in a dicussion with #OperationEssex .   During the events of Operation #Cassandra , Susanna clearly displayed her alignment with The Resistance.  This wasn't more evident then at the end of Ingress Report EP22.  Go back and watch that episode starting at about 6 min in.  She says things like, "this is your final chance to prevent this major Shaper takeover of our global power centers," and, "I know nothing good can come of our political and economic leaders being shaped against their will." Throughout #cassandra , Moyer was reporting from undisclosed locations, apparently on the run from some unknown group.  At the end of EP22, she was possibly apprehended by these mysterious thugs. Alright, A lot's been discovered in the last 30 mins, so without further ado, down the rabbit hole we go. Everyone's seen the glyph calibration paper being used.  Recently though, #OperationEssex with the help of +Anthony Castanza have discovered that there's actually 13 points to the grid.  Илья Склянухин (Sorry I can't + you. I can't figure out Cyrillic on my keyboard) noted that the 13 point calibration grid looks very similar to something called the Metatron Cube. It pains me to see Devra so vilified in the G+ threads, though I do not myself find an easy exculpatory explanation.  Let us give her the benefit of the doubt for a moment and think of what she might know that she is not telling that would explain this.  At this point, the anti-Devra denigration operation is having devastating success.

Hi all Essexians I'm new here, and glad to be here! :-) So as my first contribution, I'm wondering if their are any members here with expertise in decoding the photo clues? May I direct your attention to +H. Richard Loebs background profile pic. I'm not sure how long its been a red sketch of of a old ship, but with redx and klues recent need to find Richard, along with Edgar Allan Wright recent queries about covert artifacts (Theres a portal here in sf call the old ship Niantic ) I wonder if we can discover anything by dissecting this image.

I find it interesting that the covert research group code-named the Juice Club had a cover story early that was called the A Smoothie, and all of these years later, a similarly named drink is for sale at Jamba Juice.  I have wondered if there is a connection.  It would be interesting to know if any players have ever asked about this. I am wondering what other covert artifacts have emerged in the public consciousness.

Since the topic of glyphs has been widely discussed over the past few days, I figure this would be a good chance to share some very early glyph research I had started circa Operation: #JeweledDagger .
