Hank is said to have stumbled into the temple after escaping from the CBI. The words on the building are in Kannada, a language that is spoken in the state of Karnataka, India(also my home state).
'ಕೈಲಾಸ ಮಂಟಪ' is 'Kailasa Mantapa' or 'Shiva Temple'.
On searching a little further, it turns out this particular temple is located in Hubli, Karnataka. (See attached images)

There are no portals there, unfortunately. What we can say for sure is that Hank was at this location around 40 days ago. Jahan and her father possibly stay in around there as well.
