Of Tycho- Instrument of the Shapers?
There has been a lot of talk lately of Tycho, the Visionary, the Artist, and now a Tecthulhu. Looking at history, the name itself has been associated with scientific discovery, knowledge, and progress. These ideas align themselves to the will of the Shapers, and reveal that Tycho may itself be a manifestation of that will. Could there have been other Tecthulhus made manifest from the will of other Exogeneous entities? Is Klue also a Tecthulhu? Known as Katalina before she hosted one? Such a thought many indeed be speculation, but we can look at Tycho as an example.
The Enlightened believe the Shapers are guiding humanity towards a bright evolutionary future through the enhancement of creative thought. Such thoughts align with Tycho. He himself stated, “Like a fabric slowly being torn apart from in front of my eyes, these pieces of earth, windows across space, come to me in fragments. I see them, walk through them. They are real. Please help me understand what I am seeing.” A human host to a Tecthulhu, granted powerful visions, he would seek find the real meaning behind what he saw. Associations in history with the name Tycho are intriguing as well.
Noteworthy Instances of Tycho
The three wisemen brought to our attention some interesting incarnations of Tycho. The Tycho Crater is one of the most noteworthy craters on the moon(depicted). At 85KM in diameter, it is an incredible sight. The Tycho Crater is of scientific interest because it can be used to study the mechanics of how an impact crater forms. It is named after Danish astronomer Tycho Brahe. He revolutionized astronomical instrumentation and changed observational practice profoundly. His vision contributed to our understanding of the universe. The name Tycho itself (greek Tychon) means “hitting the mark.” In Space Odyssey lore, there was an alien monolith buried deep within the Tycho crater. When exposed to direct sunlight it emitted a single powerful burst of radio waves that inspired further exploration and discovery of the Universe.
Tycho is a manifestation of a Tecthulhu designed to obtain knowledge, educate, grow and enhance creative thought- possibly created through the combined will of the Shapers. It is logical that it would attach itself with a visionary mind. If there are Tecthulhus created from the will of the Shapers, then what of the N’zeer? Could that have been Klue? The forces that formed the Tycho crater were beyond powerful- a fitting metaphor for the power of the exogenous. There will be many..

The Tycho Crater on the moon has a central mountain 2 Km high. At the top of this mountain sits a large rock. An intriguing monolith indeed.
