So, i just saw the email about, well remembering. Mind palaces. This is an ancient technique. Homers iliad and odyssey. Pick a place you know, or build one in your head. The Parthenon was one. Walk to the statue of zeus, tell a part of the story, about zeues. Walk to the statue of Appollo, tell a part of the story about Appollo. We all do this any way. Then learn 1000 pages, this statue of a god, then that one.
A place you know, a story that is meaningful to you.
Folks that do "amazing" memory tricks, this is all they do. Mind palaces. It does take practice, but it it does not take intelligence. "Every good boy does fine"
Mnemonics. Homer, a blind man who was probably illiterate, knew how to recite more than 2000 pages ( in english text, point is, it was a long story) Mnemonic learning. This reminds me of that, that means those things remind me of the next thing.
