I must say that I am shocked by Devra's announcement today.

I must say that I am shocked by Devra's announcement today. Certainly, I had heard the rumors, but I did not believe them. This is not the Devra I knew. This is not the Devra who I had believed fled the Niantic Project at CERN when she learned that Lynton-Wolfe and Jarvis were contemplating or in fact carrying out experiments on unsuspecting people. What has happened to her?  Or, I must ask, is the situation for desperate than I had thought? What was her progression? How did she get to this point?
