On the relationship between Memory Palace and Ingress
Misty Hannah said the "Portal network is the largest Memory Palace on the globe". If it's so, Portal is the memory of that place and the memory of the people living on that place.
Assuming that Portal is a neuron in the human brain, I think Link is a synapse connecting them. By closely interlinking many synapses, brain is activated.
Then, what is Control Field in the Memory Palace?
I think that CF is an "Idea" created by connecting memories to each other. In other words, "Memory" is replaced with "Knowledge", and an “Idea” is a combination of knowledge.
One knowledge, that is just one.
With two knowledge it evolves, but it is only one way axis.
Three knowledge has mutual influence, and finally they can be an Idea with broad possibilities.
Also, by Portal Submissions that newly launched we will find undiscovered holes in "Memory Palace". It is similar to finding and clearing every gap to protect the house from a hurricane.
The discovered Portal must be strengthened.
Someone has to deploy Resonators and become a "Guardian".
Even with different Factions, the strengthening procedure is the same.
Everyone needs to link "Memories" and connect them each other to create a variety of "Ideas".
It is similar to a human being growing while changing multiple different ideas every moment.
