The Enlightenment Compound

The Enlightenment Compound

While i am sure that the Compound is not something stationary i decided i really wanted to look into the claims of where the entrance to the Compound was in Big Sur. The Compound is one of the last places that Klue S. was physically seen alive in 2016 and is where Susanna Moyer would take the parts that matter to the Tecthulhu. Many unexplained things happened at this site including a mysterious couple stumbling upon it and then one jumping into the sea and going missing. With the Intel and letters that H. Richard Loeb shared, we had a general idea of the area but couldn't get agents there to identify or find where the Compound was before it disappeared.

Today when i woke up, some one shared a video with me that mentioned Big Sur and an image caught my attention so i decided to look into it. Granted the entrance to the Compound has probably gotten lost or can not be found without help, but i do not believe it can't be used or accessed any longer so i dont see harm in still trying to find its location.

Based on this letter, Scott and Ana stumbled upon the entrance portal some where along highway 1, near Big Sur, CA.

In this same letter its stated they went hiking in the wooden area and in another report, The Compound Attack, another couple reports that they were "hiking about a half hour off the road". That report can be seen below...

I originally thought that meant they had to have been on one of the MoleraSP trails that are directly next to Big Sur and in the Pleiffer Ridge. There is even a portal on the edge of the Ridge next to Clear Ridge and a trail that wasnt far from the road. Considering the Compound is surrounded by dense forest and close to the Ocean this seemed perfect, but there were also other things in the letters that pointed a little more south.

"They took her to the backside of the compound, down in the canyon." This was a detail released in Klues Arrival. You can look at the details of that letter in this link. http://investigate.ingress.com/2016/05/25/scott-and-anne-klues-arrival/

This is a big detail against Pleiffer Ridge because while Big Sur is a very large area there are very few places i could find that had a Canyon, the ocean, and a large enough wooded area to get lost in. If i was just a tourist like these couples were i would not have known how big of an area Big Sur is and would have likely stuck around the area my map would highlight as Big Sur. So the closest Canyon is Scyamore which is right off of highway 1. A campsite is right across the highway and not far down the road is a couple places to eat would support Annes first letter to H. Richard Loeb about her leaving and going somewhere close to eat.

The last detail i want to bring up is in this letter.

"I’m headed for the coast. I think I can swim out and the up far enough to get out of the compound." Considering it seemed Scott had a military back ground and was potentially in a lot of trouble, thus being followed, i believe he would have stuck to the trees and cover for as much as he could until he go to the coast. Both Pleiffer Ridge and Scyamore Canyon are close to the Ocean but Sycamore definitely has more cover up the the ocean than Pleiffer does.

Now, by the vast amount of the descriptions, either place could be where the Compound entrance is. Of course we cant enter it right now, but i thought bringing a little more light on where it could be wouldnt harm anything. Of course this is just my speculation and there are other facts that point elsewhere, further south but to me, these areas made better sense. Its still a large area to try and find something, but who knows what could be found.
