Today X said, "From what is known, Nigel Moyer may have been a cryptanalyst or researcher for the British during the Cold War era, but many questions remain to be answered."  Dr. Wright has mentioned Bletchley in the past.  That town was where Turing and the other codebreakers worked.  The machines they worked on, the Colossus, the bombe, the Enigma. It took a bit time to identify this pattern.
