"Who do you think set up flint dille [in Seattle]? (Hint: AL)"
Part 5 of my series exploring and polling the investigative community on the questions posed by flint dille on signed copies of Tycho C.'s Ingress Origins graphic novel.
As most of you are aware, flint dille was abducted in Seattle on the eve of the Obsidian anomaly there. He was freed thanks to the timely intervention of GORUCK agents who were also able to recover the scattered Intel that Flint's contact was forced to ditch. We were all relieved that flint dille escaped unharmed and that the Intel was ultimately recovered.
As an investigative community, we owe it to each other to try and establish who set Flint up. It is imperative that we know who we can, and can't trust. When a member of our community is threatened, we need to take it seriously.
Now, it seems like flint dille either knows, or strongly suspects, who betrayed him. Perhaps out of a fear of retribution, he feels he can't just come out and say it. Consequently, he left it for us to uncover.
Based in the hint "AL", I can think of two plausible possibilities.
The first is Amaziah Lachish. Clearly a pseudonym, apparently based on the ancient biblical king of Judah, Amaziah who was slain by assassins in the fortress city of Lachish. I think we can all agree, it's a very strange identity to assume. Amaziah appeared early in the investigation as a contact/informant of H. Richard Loeb and has also crossed paths with Misty Hannah.
Looking back through the community, it appears that Mustafa Said has done an excellent job investigating Amaziah. Rather than duplicate efforts, I have decided to provide links here for your edification:

Amaziah Lachish also managed to infiltrate a hangout where Edgar Allan Wright was answering questions live from investigators. Clearly whoever Amaziah is, they have a demonstrated capacity to reach out to individuals that they wish to contact.
The other possibility is Avril Lorazon, the current CEO of IQTech Research. It is interesting to imagine that the return of Ezekiel Calvin might have placed Lorazon in an interesting position: would Calvin, upon regaining what he could of his memories, attempt to retake the reigns? If so, would Lorazon step aside quietly? It's hard to predict what Lorazon might do if their back was up against the wall. Without knowing more about internal IQTech Research corporate politics, it's impossible to know precisely what Lorazon's motivations are.
Of the two, I believe that +Amaziah Lachish is the most likely culprit. I would, as always, be very keen to see where the investigative community falls on this question.
