[Redacted]the [Redacted] inventor known for his [Redacted], is a worthy candidate both as Resistance and [Redacted]. [Redacted]once listed his invention as one of the most important ever put forward. Despite its many accolades, his invention never became accepted in the mainstream. Only upwards of [Redacted] of them were produced. Still he found fame and success for his other accomplishments. He was an author of many books and inventions besides the above-mentioned [Redacted], such [Redacted]and others. His career was primarily focused on [Redacted]and [Redacted]. The complicated and repetitive calculations required for propeller and propulsion designs evolved into the development of his [Redacted], which we believe was an early [Redacted].
Here is how he himself describes his invention:
"The device consists of a [Redacted]of about [Redacted]in diameter, on which are fixed two movable arms, extending from the centre to the periphery. On the plate are engraved a number of [Redacted]that with their intersection with the arms, the most complicated [Redacted] can be performed almost instantly."
In [Redacted]he proposed a hexadecimal (base 16) system of notation, arithmetic, and metrology called the [Redacted] He proposed that everything organized in decimal should switch from a base 10 to a base 16 system, (this part was highlighted in the image) including [Redacted]
He is quoted as saying:
"I am not afraid, or do not hesitate, to advocate a [Redacted]. I know I have nature on my side; if I do not succeed to impress upon you its utility and great importance to mankind”[Redacted]
His inventions should be catalogued and retrieved for study. We also recommend cross-referencing[Redacted]with the movement and use of [Redacted] He served as chief engineer of the [Redacted], which leads us to the conclusion he may have sought the creation[Redacted]. In [ REDACTED ] he published a map of North America, including a depiction of [ REDACTED ] near [ REDACTED ]. We believe he embedded something in his work. [ REDACTED ]
