Some facts (with a touch of speculation) about Hank Johnson that were brought up in one of the hangouts last night... building upon Daniel Benton 's post (can't add pictures as a comment). Thanks to many members of #OperationEssex for helping put this together.
In the Nomad video he was wearing a white shirt, jacket, full gear.
The body found had a military-style t-shirt that was cut/torn open (as if someone had tried to save the individual after an attack).

Hank was special ops, assigned to aid IQTech Research (dun dun dun...) and was employing a local to guide him... Azmati.
They entered the nest, (read the description of the nest in debrief part 2) and were attacked. Hank's memory of the attack and anything after that is fuzzy. He doesn't know where Azmati went.
DOD debrief 1 states that Hank was found without any of his gear, wearing tribal clothing. Could it be that his clothing was still with his body in the cave? (This is 2010 timeframe) According to the document "a number of unusual artifacts were discovered in his possession".
How did he escape the cave? What happened to his clothes and gear? What are the artifacts that were found with him? (Debrief pt1 says the artifacts were sent "for analysis".)
Now to the last few months...

Depicts the beginning of the trip into the Sanctum/Nest/Cave. Notice the sounds that match the description in the DOD debrief docs.

Then watch this one, his video diary: Hank Johnson's video-diary revealed! so much of what he says in the video diary makes sense now. He is looking for Azmati to help him. To help him make sense of what he saw in the cave, and to help him understand what happened to him the first time he went in, when Azmati disappeared.
