Thinking about the coming anomaly in Zagreb Croatia, I did some research on the origins of the Croatian people and some theories and research by historians and archeologists indicate that the Croatian people originated in modern day Afghanistan, specifically from the Satrapy of Arachosia in the city of Alexandria (Now modern day Kandahar): http://www.raceandhistory.com/Science/croatia.htm
Arachosia, however, was renamed by Alexander the Great, after he conquered the Persian empire in 333 BC. Its original name was Harauvati, which very closely resembles the actual Croatian name of Croatia, Hrvatska. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arachosia
According to this article from Princeton University: http://www.princeton.edu/~achaney/tmve/wiki100k/docs/Croats.html , The orgin of the Croatian people is uncertain. So the question is, if they did originate from Arachosia, now modern day Kandahar, what caused them to migrate to Europe and how did Alexander the Great play a role in this?
