So this post has been born of a simple question? How are Devra Bogdanovich and Hubert Farlowe avoiding detection? And How did they get the info about Oliver Lynton-Wolfe and how to stop him?
Let's check the information we have around the time of Devra Bogdanovich disappearance and afterwards:

So after checking all of this event, I have formulated that they are not on this alone, they have someone helping then doing this.this some is A Detection Algorithm, it would not be the first time that they work together and she seem to be able to hack most system, so removing the ability to see someone from the system should not be a difficult task from her, and it would explain too, where did Devra Bogdanovich got the intel she has from Oliver Lynton-Wolfe.
So, according to my theory, when and why did A Detection Algorithm switches loyalties?
The answer is Klue S. more exactly when Susanna Moyer brought her to Oliver Lynton-Wolfe.
This would be a tentative chronology of what happened:
1. After A Detection Algorithm come back, she rejoin Oliver Lynton-Wolfe working on their project, that we can assume was the techtulu.
2. Susana goes to the Acolyte and takes Klue S. on her journey
3. Susana arrived to the place where OLW is working an is taken by him
4. ADA ask OLW to give her Klue S. but he refuses, after all , we all know that Klue S. seem to be special for some reason
5. ADA decided to go to the one person she knows will want to stop OLW, and has reason to want to atone for her past: Devra Bogdanovich
So, ok, how do you know that A Detection Algorithm really does care for Klue S. ?
Well, I don't, i think so based on previous documents,since we know that Klue S. collaborate to sent a virus that forced ADA into the n'zeer sustrate, when she arrived back, she was more powerful that ever, so my main reason to believe that she cares for Klue S. is the fact that she was still alive after that.
So as the last part of this theory, what is the portal recom tool for? why would ada get new portals on the system? well, we know that most XM technology need power, but this power only seem to be able to harvested by the leaders of the faction for each group, so Jahan and the Acolyte at the moment. What if you could hack (a literal hack) some portals on creation to deviate the energy for yourself? This is what i think A Detection Algorithm want to use this tool for.
And about why, i think that all trace back to Klue again, if you got simulacrum technology and the ability to recreate someone from the portal network information, would you not be able to bring back someone lost to it? This could be one more reason for the Klue deaddrop that keep happening.
